We had a wonderful stay at a beautifully located cottage with stunning views of green fields and woods. The cottage was well-appointed and had everything we needed, including a high chair and travel cot for our little one. We enjoyed watching the sheep in the field behind the cottage and seeing deer in the nearby fields every morning. The welcome basket provided a lovely touch and we enjoyed exploring the Cinder Track walk and visiting Hayburn Wyke Cove. we had a lovely experience and would definitely recommend this place to others.
The washer/dryer was not functioning properly, which would have been handy for us with young children. Additionally, it would have been nice to have a later check-out time and an earlier check-in time.

We had a fantastic time at this charming cottage tucked away in a secluded and quiet location. the kids especially loved the short walk down to Hayburn Wyke cove, where they enjoyed exploring the rock pools and searching for seashells. We also took a stroll down the field to the cinder track, which offered beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. the cottage itself was well, maintained and spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds and a well, equipped kitchen. We even had a lovely welcome pack waiting for us upon arrival, complete with treats for the children and our furry friends. we were pleased to find an excellent local pub just a short 25, minute walk away, where we enjoyed delicious meals and friendly service.
The only drawback we encountered was the lack of a slip mat in the shower. As someone with a new knee replacement, it would have been helpful to have a more secure surface to stand on.

I recently stayed at a beautiful and cozy cottage in Scarborough. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the welcome basket was a lovely touch. The beds were comfy, and we enjoyed the stunning views from the outside area. The cottage itself was well-appointed and had everything we needed for a comfortable family getaway. The location was excellent, and we had the pleasure of spotting deer in the nearby fields each morning. I highly recommend this accommodation for a tranquil and enjoyable stay.
While there were hardly any drawbacks, the wifi didn't work during our stay. However, it was actually quite nice to disconnect and enjoy a more traditional form of entertainment.

had an amazing valentine's day getaway at a gorgeous stone cottage in Scarborough. Super quiet, dark nights, and just a short drive to the beach. The cottage was well-equipped, plush towels, and lovely decor. Loved the baby gate for our little ones and the fact that dogs are welcome.
The double bed was too firm for our liking.

Our stay at Hayburnbeckfarm was lovely! The cottage itself was beautiful and cozy, with attractive furnishings and comfortable seating downstairs. We really enjoyed the character of the place and the lovely garden seating outside. The kitchen was very well equipped, although we had a small issue with opening the window. The welcome basket was a nice touch and the views from the outside area were absolutely stunning. Additionally, the location was ideal for exploring the old train line and nearby attractions like Scarborough and Whitby.
I must mention that we had some issues during our stay. the beds were uncomfortable, especially the Double which was too firm for our liking.
